The DD13 Gen 5 has been significantly redesigned to offer new ratings, an all-new aftertreatment system, and numerous innovations to further increase performance, durability and efficiency. We’ve engineered key improvements to the design of the DD13 including:
- New swirl piston design for better combustion
- New turbochargers for rapid torque performance
- Improved thermal management, for extended idle and low load PTO operation with fewer regens
- DPF service intervals extended by over 16% for greater uptime
- Fuel efficiency improvement of up to 4.0%
- Meets EPA 2010 Emissions, 2021 Greenhouse Gas (GHG21) and 2016 OBD (OBD16) compliance
